 The Black Wolf DeCuerdas Eskrima Club recognizes Sr. Master Daniel Siazon as the rightful successor of  Tenio's DeCuerdas and or DeCuerdas Diestro Eskrima, as intended and requested by GM Art Gonzalez. As such GM Daniel Siazon will have my support and school support if and when called upon either in support, or in defense of this decree. As of March 2021 I have come full circle and have now moved under my first DeCuerdas teacher Sr. Master Jorge Magana who is under GM Daniel Siazon.

Sr. Chief Master Instructor Daniel Siazon

NOTE: GM Daniel Siazon was deemed the next inheritor of the system by GM Art Gonzalez. 
Daniel Siazon began his martial arts training in Goju-Ryu Karate at the age of 12, in 1970 through 1975, under Sensei Rodney Hu Sr. in Manteca, California. In 1973, he met and trained under the late Grandmaster Angel Cabales in Serrada Eskrima for about a year and a half. Daniel moved away to college and participated in Judo and Aikido in San Luis Obispo, California. In 1978, he returned to San Joaquin Valley and trained in Goju-Ryu Karate under Gene Tibon in Stockton, California.

Daniel then started training with the late Grandmaster Leo Giron of the Bahala Na Eskrima School.in 1980, and graduated as an Instructor. In 1995, Daniel met Master Arthur Gonzalez of Tenio Decuerdas Eskrima and began training, gaining Instructor status. In 1998 through 2000, he trained with Master Frank Rillamas of Cabales Serrada Eskrima in Lathrop, California. In 2000, he trained in Doce Pares under Nito Noval in Sacramento, California. In 2002 Daniel trained in American Kenpo under Sifu Rick Fowler in Irving Texas. Daniel is currently training in Mande Muda Indonesian Silat under Philip Matedne. Daniel currently is teaching Decuerdas Eskrima in Roseville, CA. Daniel attended seminars with noted Instructors such as the late Pendakar Herman Suwanda in Mande Muda Silat and Dan Inosanto in Kali.  

Daniel is located in the Northern Sacramento area in Roseville CA. and continues to train and explore new areas of study in order to be the best he can be.

Guro Justin Hensley

Guro Justin received his promotion to Guro 2nd Degree in September 2010. He is currently an adjunct DeCuerdas Eskrima  instructor at the VEA Martial Arts Academy in Manteca.

Sr. Master Instructor Jorge Magana

Jorge Magana has been with GM Art for over 20 years he operated a DeCuerdas School in Stockton for nearly five years and is in the process of re-opening another school in Stockton. He is a 6th Degree  Sr. Master Instructor under GM Art Gonzalez.

Master Instructor  Mike Cardenas

Master Mike Cardenas has been a student of GM Art Gonzalez for over 20 years, and holds the rank of 4th degree Master Instructor, awarded on June 14th 2014. He currently operates a DeCuerdas Eskrima School in Manteca, CA at the VEA Martial Arts Academy. He has practiced Kosho Ryu Kenpo, Vu Lam Vietnam Kung Fu, and is currently practicing Kajukenbo under Professor Dennis Petterson and now under Sr. Master Jorge Magana of DeCuerdas Diestro Fighting Systems.
